Yep. You can't push for diversity with writers, while still having gatekeepers that are white or gatekeepers that have been taught to push white narratives, thoughts and views above all. That's why it is performative because it lacks longevity, it will only be applied during moments when the focus is non-white, then it reverts back to the default.
