White people do write for white audiences, it’s called mainstream. White ppl don’t have to explicitly state intent for impact to exist. Heard this same argument used when someone requested getting in touch with a Black editor and white ppl said what if we only asked for a white editor? That reality already exists as over 90% of editors are white. One action maintains current inequities/inequalities while the other seeks to shrink the gap. Reached my one reply max.
