The fact that you think you can determine when a racist white person you know changes (as though you are an authority or that anyone other than a fellow white would believe you) is not only laughable, but a common attitude we hear time and again from white people. That's why so many white people accept apologies from racist white folks on behalf of a group they are not a part of.
