So many are saying "You're saying no one should try!" I'm just like where did I say that. Be realistic and honest about people's chances of success. Be honest about the privileges that raise a person's chances and harms others who don't have that privilege. Acknowledge that no one should have to work so much in toxic jobs, that they rarely live their lives. Too many believe it and espouse it.

Agree. We need to stop seeking validation from this system that ties our humanity with our appearance, gender identity, how hard we work and our level of success.
