It’s sadly going to take a lot more than that. People need to recognize their privilege based on categories such as race, then choose to work with marginalized groups and use that privilege for protecting and pushing for equality. Then we may make a dent. But too many don’t acknowledge their privilege. Almost all of us have some privilege. I’m privileged because I’m able-bodied. I’ve seen how physically and mentally disabled ppl are treated and disregarded. We need to be willing to sacrifice and risk our positions, jobs and so on. Maybe one day.
